Started week on good note..

yeah feeling happy as managed to go for 1/2 hr jogging on saturday-Sunday. Diet wise all home made normal food, nothing kind of Diet food and nothing very heavy kinda too.....

Today I have started with day 1 of JM 30 day shred. I assumed to have sore muscles etc but all seems ok may ba as my body has been used to it now.

I know that even after trying so much and doing so much I am not getting desired results however I am not going to stop as I believe today or tomorrow I my efforts will definitely get fruitful.

BTW here are some statistics as of today fro tracking purpose after my strat with JM.

All this Kolavery D....

This is going to be a wrong kinda day in terms of food etc. as today to reach office early I have not cooked anything not even breakfast. So in short breakfast was 2 pieces of bread with tea and I have to eat lunch at office. However I will try to some safe food as much as I can from the options available in cafeteria. But yes anyhow its nt at all home cooked planned food at all.

Now let me vent out few more things too here.

I have joined a new workplace last week Monday. This is The nearest office anyone can have from my home location. So I should be very happy isn't it????
I was...though now I have realised that things are not as bright as I thought it would be. Because on this route there is such a heavy traffic that it takes me more time than any of my previous offices which were capatively quite far away. From last many days I have tried various routes and means to reach here like 2 wheeler, 4 wheeler and 3 wheeler and various routes but finally I concluded this way or that way, it taken more more more than anicipated time. And reaching office late means leaving late and then agaqin facing very heavy traffice and then reaching home too late too tired then everything late late late.

So the best way would be to leave home very early in the morning to reach office early and then leave early. So today I left home early and reached early here....hopefully will leave early too...

Tankfully its friday so in this weekend I will try my best to hire a maid for household chores....

Karar(A sabji made of Moong dal)

Ingredients -
1 cup green/yellow moong dal, soaked night before
haldi - 1 pinch
garam masala - 1 teaspoon
red chilly - 1/4 teaspoon
jeera - 1/2 teaspoon
ginger-chilly paste - 1 teaspoon
Salt-as per taste
Oil

Procedure-

wash the soaked dal thoroughly in water.
(If you have soaked green dal the skin will come out but you can keep that to make some paratha or pakodas of it as they come up very crunchy and helathy too.)
Grind the dal coarsely without using water as it should be thick paste.
(Should not be very smooth paste)
In a pan pour some oil and drop small small balls of the dal paste and fry them lightly.
keep 2-3 spoon of paste for the gravy and make pakoras of all the paste.
Now in 2 spoon of oil put jeera, ginger-chilly paste and all the masalas.
Now add water and the remaining dal paste (only 2-3 spoon), add salt and cover it and let it cook for sometime.
Later add the dal pakoras

Serve hot with rice/roti.

As today I know there are no (or you can say limited) vegetables in my fridge so I need to think about what to cook.
I have only potato, tomato and onion avaialable. And I have already made Aloo-Tamatar sabji today morning itself.
So I need to look upon the receipes which I can make. This  has given my an idea to summarize the things which we can make
when we run out of vegetabled. I am syre many of us do face this situation some or other time so hopefully this collection can help us.

Here are few things I cook when I don't have any vegetable available-
1. kadhi
2. Karar (A sabji made of Moong dal)
3. besan sabji
4. Chole
5. rajma
6. Nutrela (Soya chunks) sabji
7. Dal Kofte
8. Gatte ki sabji

Yun hi....

Started doing half and hour yoga + pranayam every morning from yesterday.
On Sunday morning also went for a morning walk for around 40 mins.

felt sad as on weekend I have tried few clothes and they dint fit me al all now however I was wearing them 5-6 months back.
No problem rather than curing me for all this I know the reasons etc for it.
Though I was not absolutely far away from exercise as I was doing something or other thing like gym, jogging, walk etc but all together it was like as and when I felt to do so.
On food front no conscious effort.

BTW now I have started having one glass of lukewarm lemon water in the morning and taking care of food too. lets hope it all goes good and I get my goals.

just an update....


Life has been on rocks from past few months. Faced many ups and downs however seems things are getting settled down now. At least to some extent and that is why I was away from my blog since long. In last few months I did exercise in some or other form like walking/jogging and gym etc.
As exercise has become a part of me now but due to now being very focused on diet etc weight loss has actually not happened.

As I have already shared my weight loss process is very very very slow but still am trying and trying....as I know some or other day I will succeed.
